Each session lasts 50 minutes. In terms of how long you meet with a therapist, this can vary a lot, and we would talk about it during the first meeting, which we call an assessment. During this session, we would ask you questions and get you to describe yourself so you and the therapist get a sense of why you have come to seek psychotherapy. The session is also an opportunity for you to see whether you feel this might be the right place for you.
